Agency for speech?
DD will be getting EI eval for speech. I met with the Nassau County coordinator and she handed me a list of 30+ agencies in Nassau County and asked me to pick one to do the eval. She was not allowed to recommend one to me. Hoping someone on here could help!

I use All About Kids in Plainview. DS is with his speech therapist right now and laughing away.

We had good experiences with Children's speech and Rehab and Little Village for speech.

So do I!! Not only for evals -- DS also receives therapy from them and I love all his therapists.

My son is asd and none verbal i use up we grow. The ABA supervisor does not believe in speech therapy she one of those die hard ABA people. Thank god she has no say over my sons case. I love my Cordinator at up we grow she is great. Lauren is in charge of doing the speech eval is great too. Andrew is highly respected in his field and he is great about explaining things everything to me. As a whole up we grow is great they get back to you when you call the same day. Evals are scheduled pretty fast and I have always gotten them with in the week I ask or get the ok from my EIOD. As far as therapist go all of them work and take cases for multiple agencies. From what I here it is a common thing for them to work for other agencies.

Most therapists work with multiple agencies so that they can fill their case load and not rely on just one agency to that. I've heard good things about Marion k. Solomon and Kidz Therapy. Again, it's really about the therapists , and less about the agency since the agency just supplies the therapists.
