Going rate for Oil

Any one recently contract an oil company? What's the going rate?

I am in a contract right now that is about to expire and I feel like you never getter the better rate if you are a repeat customer.

Thanks!!

Going rate for Oil

I am calling around also.

It's true, you will get a better price as a new customer! So much for customer retention and loyalty!

I just call companies, ask for their best price, then call next. It's a pain in the neck game to play. I wouldn't sign up with the first price a company quotes...there always seems to be a better price!

Re: Going rate for Oil

My contract is expiring in Sept so Petro just called me to renew. First they quoted me at the "going rate" of 4.19. When I said I never paid for oil over $4 since living in my home they dropped it down to my current fixed price of $3.64. I still think they can do better. Anyone get a fixed quote recently?

Re: Going rate for Oil

Just got fixed rate of 3.49 through Meenan with other incentives. I prefer having a company with a contract and a service plan so it's one less thing to worry about. Let me know if you want my salesman info. He was great. Have been with Meenan for 9 years and their service is fantastic.

Is that for a new customer, or existing?

Wow, that's really low for Petro. They quotes us much higher about 5 weeks ago and again 2 weeks ago.
