Hairloss
Has anyone experienced hair loss from the process of taking different hormones? I've lost a lot of hair and feel like it is getting so thin, I'm wondering if its from all the hormonal changes

Re: Hairloss
I'm not sure what hormones you're taking, but an increase in hormones (so being on progesterone, for example) should make your hair thicker and mimic pregnancy symptoms. Hair loss occurs when your hormones fall.

Re: Hairloss
I had a spell of hair loss that was kind of alarming. For me it was because I had a pregnancy (loss) followed by estrogen priming and IVF, which kept my estrogen high for awhile. Apparently when that happens you don't shed normally (which makes the hair thicker, like during pregnancy) and then when the hormone levels normalize, everything that should have fallen out does at once about 2 months later.

Re: Hairloss
Im on synthroid and one of the symptoms is hair falling out. Same with DHEA. My hair has grown so much during my cycles with IVF. My hair dresser comments every time I go in there for cut and color!
