We got the uppababy cruz - still havent used it but I love that its compact, has a huge bin area, easy to move around, and super cute. We got the adapter to fit out car seat for when the babys a newborn.

We just got the city select, I liked it because the bin is HUGE, the option to add a second seat. The ease of folding it, and how easy it is to manuver.

Re: stroller
We bought the City Select because we needed a double stroller. I like it a lot, though I am not thrilled with the basket. While it is a really nice stroller, we have been spoiled by our current stroller for the last 17 months...
We've been using the Uppababy Cruz since DD was born. I am totally in love with it and am sad that we won't be able to use it once I deliver this baby. The basket is absolutely amazing. The stroller handles like a dream. It's easy to open and close. I love that I can have DD face in either direction. Quite frankly, there is nothing I don't like.

We use the Snap n Go for now and have a City Mini GT for when she gets a little bigger.

exactly what we did, you can just buy the converter for city mini but I love the snap n go bc it is so easy and the basket is so big. City mini is the best stroller imo (britax now makes the same one they didn't when we got it)

We have the chicco keyfit caddy and loved it. There are a few brands of snap and go so you can see which carseat you want and then look for one that works with that. The baby trend one is supposed to work with a lot of seats but I didn't like that I would have to use a strap to secure the chicco seat on that one. Love the chicco version! We have that and the city mini. I like the city mini but it's a little bulky and the basket stinks compared to a snap and go.

Depending upon the stroller you choose, you don't need a separate snap and go. The Uppababy can be used as a regular stroller or you can take off the seat and snap your car seat right into the base (not clunky like an adapter on a city mini). If you're considering the city mini, I'd really urge you to try to stuff a diaper bag in it and then compare it's basket to other strollers. DH and I originally planned to buy the city mini, but the basket is terrible, so we went with the Uppababy.

If I had to do it over again, I would do exactly this.

Re: stroller
Uppahbaby vista. Not only do I love it but my DS does as well. Right now we use the bassinet for strolling around the neighborhood and his car seat adapter for errands. We bought it for it's design and function and so far I love every single thing about it (spacious, folds easy, not heavy, not too big, maneuvers well, seems really comfortable for baby).

Us too. I use it with the Britax B-Safe carseat. We also have the Britax B-Nimble which is like an umbrella stroller but you can click the car seat into it as well. It's lightweight and easy to take in and out of car. I use it all the time when I'm running into Target or other stores.

thanks ladies. i'm going to check them out. this stroller business is overwhelming!
What helped us is I chose 2 strollers from baby bargains book to look at (based on their reviews, it was the City Mini + Uppa Baby Cruz). We then went to the store and used both, etc. That was the most helpful - getting a sense of how it rides, features it has, etc.

that was my plan.
i went to bbb over the weekend with a friend and was just so overwhelmed b/c i assumed all strollers came as a travel system. i didn't realize some needed adapters and car seats.. silly me.

The stroller and car seat section were the most overwhelming - for sure. I think that's why having 2 choices we wanted to check out for each really helped us and we didn't look at anything else.

Love my Uppababy Cruz. I use an attachment to use it with my Chicco car seat.
