Bumble & Bumble - Hairdresser's Invisible Oil

I was torn on this purchase for a few weeks and DH finally landed a new account last week and is back to work so I decided to splurge and got the BB Hairdresser's Invisible Oil Shampoo, Conditioner and Hair Oil. It's AMAZZZIINNNGGGG!!!!!

I've been laying off the hair dryer the last few months so I usually have to drown my hair in conditioner, leave in conditioner, argan oil and then in the morning, I have to hit the front with a straightener.

Last night, I washed/conditioned per usual then used a bit of the oil and brushed it out. Woke up this morning and my hair was so smooth. It has a soft wave to it and the ends were laying nicely, no straightener necessary.

I'm really impressed. It was a bit expensive but a little went a long way and I can't stop touching my hair today. It's like silk. Just wanted to share. :)External Image External Image External Image

What type of hair do you have? I have wavy hair and this sounds terrific!

I have wavy hair...some days it's straighter, other days I can coax it into a semi-decent curl. Lately, i've been keeping it in a soft beach wave. Let me know if you try it out, I really love it!! My hair feels so silky.

Do you need to use all of the products? If you can use individually, which product would you use?

Hmmm, that's a good question!! I've never used them individually but if I had to choose just one, i'd go with the invisible oil. Next i'd choose the conditioner and lastly, the shampoo.

Ok I bought the oil. It says to use with a dryer or to use on dry hair. I always let my curly hair air dry. Always. I can't be bothered to blow dry it. So hopefully it works leaving it in wet hair. Thanks for the product tip.

Re: Bumble & Bumble - Hairdresser's Invisible Oil

The first time I put in way too much and it was greasy. Yesterday I tried it again and concentrated on the ends and some fly away areas. It worked ok, I guess. Nothing too impressive. I think I would see better results using it after my hair air dried.

I've never tried it on my hair dry but I think i'll give it a whirl. I love that it gives my hair shine and defrizzes but it's still lightweight and airy, doesn't weight it down. Sorry you didn't love it, that stinks to hear!

Re: Bumble & Bumble - Hairdresser's Invisible Oil

It worked slightly better on air dried hair. But, I still felt like it was too shiny, more greasy. But, everyone's hair is so different. It will just go back to my product graveyard. Lol. I go through a lot!

As far as airdrying. I find that "Not your mother's curl cream" mixed with herbal essences curl gel works great. Then when dry I finish with this KMS spray oil stuff. It smoothes any fly aways.

That really stinks!!!! I wonder why we had such different experiences. Maybe our hair is just different. Mine isn't greasy at all, all of my dry nasty ends are lightweight and flowy. I'm so excited, I coudn't wait to share lol total bummer. Did you use it alone or with the shampoo/conditioner?

Re: Bumble & Bumble - Hairdresser's Invisible Oil

I can't seem to get a good pic but my hair is normally a frizzy mess and I have to dry it straight then flat iron the crap out of it to get it to lay smooth.

These pics below are with washing the night before, no hair drying and a quick (less then a minute) hit on the very front bang with my straightener. It's never been so smooth or cooperative in my life.
