How to deal with waiting on lines at Dutch Wonderland and/or Sesame Place?
My 3 1/2 yr old DS gets very frustrated waiting on lines. I am getting anxious thinking about visiting one or both of these parks which we plan to do in a couple of weeks. I have never been to either one and I know during the summer they must be very crowded with very long lines. Any advice?

We just took my DS to Sesame Place at the end of May. They are very good about accommodating disabilities. All you have to do is go to the guest services window and let them know your DS has a disability, they will ask you what it is. Then they gave us a wristband and a list of rides he can use the wristband on. You go into a separate entrance to go on the rides, usually by the exit. It was great because we got on pretty much right away and I didn't have to deal with my DS screaming lol. Have fun!

Dutch Wonderland gave us a bracelet last year, I am assuming they still do it. You go to guest services to get it. The times we have been there the lines weren't too bad, though, so I have had him wait on most of the lines anyway.

I just saw DS Dev Ped and she said if we plan to go away and need a note she would write one.
The thought never crossed my mind, but she brought it up when I told her I was going on vacation this week.

How to deal with waiting on lines at Dutch Wonderland and/or Sesame Place?
We went to Dutch wonderland and sesame in June. There were no lines at all. I was nervous but we lucked out. We went the first week of school break. We had a small window to go because of his school schedule.

my suggestion is to go during the week.
We went on a Friday. The girl at the gate gave me the bracelet (as opposed to having to go to guest services I guess) and we didn't have to use it once. Granted, my son is 7 now so he understands patiences a little better than he did when he was 3. But the lines weren't all too bad.
