Looking for a dog trainer
Has anyone had any experience with or heard good/bad about
Pet Spa Resort (for training)
or
SuperPaws
Or any recommendations for a great trainer? We just adopted a dog from NorthShore and he needs some obedience training. Overall, he's a pretty good dog but he needs to learn to listen and basic commands like sit, stay, heal, etc. I've had dogs before and never had a trainer, but I am not having much success with this dog, so I'm thinking a trainer is the way to go.
Thanks!

Re: Looking for a dog trainer
We used a GREAT trainer about 5 years ago when we first got our pup (from North Shore too actually). Her name was Pat Salamina with Curious Canines. She was awesome. I'm pretty sure she's still doing training too (631) 424-3525
ETA: She also guarantees her training

Re: Looking for a dog trainer
Have Leash Will Train-Barry Stewart 516-770-1025. He is pricey but so worth it!! He trained our pup within a few sessions and had great advice and easy to use techniques. We recommend him to everyone and have had nothing but good things to say.
