Pre-K and K bookbags

Just wondering where people purchased bookbags for their 4-5 year olds in Pre-K or K. Not sure what to get DS. Any good online brands or sites?

Thanks!

Re: Pre-K and K bookbags

we just received the one we ordered from LL Bean the other day. We ordered the Orignial Backpack. DD will be in K. it is a little big on her, but I am hoping to get a few years use out of this bag, so she will grow into it. They also have a junior original that they say is good for the Pre-K/K kids, but I didn't want it to be too small for her. I also got her the matching lunch box.

LL Beab Original

LL Bean Junior Original

they also had a comparison chart on the website comparing all their bags (i.e. ages, size, etc.) which was helpful. LL Bean always has free shipping, backpacks are on sale now and I used a 20% off promo code from my catalog on top of that.

I think I'm getting DD's (K) from Land's End. When DD#1 was in K, I got hers from Garnet Hill. That one held up very well. She continued to use it for 1st grade. And, she is now using it for camp. Still in good condition.

Both my kids have LL Bean. DS's backpack from LL Bean last year held up perfectly in K, so I don't need to buy another one this year.

I wasn't crazy about their designs, but DS didn't care. He wants me to sew a patch on it this year as a decoration.

Re: Pre-K and K bookbags

DS wanted a Batman backpack. He's had a Cars one from Target for 2 years (including summer too) and held up great, but for K I said it's time for a new one.
He said he just wants a Batman one. Tried Target and some other places and only place I found it was at JC Penny.

Re: Pre-K and K bookbags

Just ordered it yestereday from Lands End.
He wanted black & red w/ a hockey patch -

Easy enough.
I also had his momogram put on it.
Very cute.

Thanks everyone! We wound up with a Paw Patrol one from Amazon. I tried for the PBK one but he said "no, that's for big kids." He's 4.

Re: Pre-K and K bookbags

Pottery barn has smaller sized ones. Liam got one last year and he didn't really use it for school. More for trips. So I am reusing this year. It held up great.

I picked up a camouflage backpack yesterday at target for anyone else looking.

I saw you already got one, but this is the route we went too. We went for a full size one too.
