Half day kindergarten northport district help
So I'm from east northport and I'm new to area. My child is starting kindergarten and is in a morning session. We are a working family and I have no idea where I can send my child from 11:30-3:30. What do working parents in this district do???

We live in Northport and my DS just finished Kindergarten.
We dropped him off at Laurel Ave School across from Northport Libarary for Moring Scope-8:15.
Then he was brought by bus to his home school by 11. There, he did the pm Kindergarten session. Then at 2:20 he went into his school's cafeteria for after care- Scope again. I picked him up about 5pm.
Call the district office tomorrow. They will be able to give you all the info.

This is what we did except we picked up about 6pm.
edited to add: there are local daycares in the area that you can have for afternoon if you need. Fifth Avenue Kids is one that comes to mind.
