Vinylux Polish?
Does it really stay on a week with no chips? I am thinking of buying some off Amazon because I do my own nails and I am sooo tired of my manicure chipping and peeling off.
Is this stuff the real deal?
How is the removal?

Re: Vinylux Polish?
I had my nails done with the polish twice. The first time my manicure lasted a week, the 2nd time it didn't. The difference was the first time they applied the Vinylux base and top coats (these help the polish last) the 2nd time they used whatever base and top coats they use for a regular manicure. Make sure they use the correct base and top coats and I think you will be fine. Removal was just like regular polish.

The Vinylux polish doesn't use a base coat. Its not meant to be used with one it will make the polish wear quicker. But you definitely need the Vinylux top coat. The formulas are designed to work together.

Vinylux Polish?
I love Vinylux as a nail tech I'm either switching between that and CND Shellac. I also like that its 5 free.
Its just the color coat and top coat you need. It shouldn't be used with a base coat. And must be used with CND's Vinylux top coat. Removes like regular polish.

Thanks, yes I didn't see any base coats when I searched but all the reviews said you must use the top coat. So I shouldn't use any base coat right? just put the color right on bare nails??

Yup skip the base coat. Color goes right onto the nails!

Vinylux Polish?
For me, it didn't last 48 hours without chips. I was super disappointed.

Vinylux Polish?
These are methods that work for me:
1. Zoya anchor base coat, zoya polish, zoya armor topcoat, then the dry drops.
2. Orly rubberized base coat, any polish, seche vite top coat.
I work in a clothing store so between doing all the merchandising, displays, ringing on the register, my polish lasts about 5 days with these methods. I haven't tried the vinylux but I''m intrigued...

Re: Vinylux Polish?
I just did my nails with it this morning. I will report back on how it lasts.
I did what the PP said: No base coat Two coats of the polish The Vinylux Top coat
I like the formula- it went on nice and smooth and it wasn't too thin or too thick
The only polish that doesn't chip on me is the CND Shellac but I can't take the removal process. I hate soaking in acetone and I feel like it really wrecks my nails.
So let's see....

Vinylux Polish?
I use the Vinylux. While it doesn't last a week it lasts 5 days. A normal manicure lasts maybe 24hrs for me so 5 days is amazing. I refuse to do gel or Shellac. Too many years of fake nails and I finally have decent nails so I will never do anything more than polish.

Re: Vinylux Polish?
Not worth paying the extra at the salon for it. I used it twice. Didn't have the best results either time so it is a waste for me.

If I can get 5 days out of it I will be as happy as a pig in shit.

That's how I feel. And if you buy it yourself its cheaper than having them do it in the salon.

You will totally get your 5 days! I feel the same way and that's why I love Vinylux: it actually lasts for up to a week WIHOUT chipping!

Re: Vinylux Polish?
OK so it's day 6 and while I have some wear and chips along the tips, this polish lastest WAY WAY better than any traditional polish I have used. It didn't peel off in large pieces like some poilshes do, on me, it didn't chip on day 2, my nails weren't trashed to the point of having to take the polish off by day 3. While it's not as long wearing and perfect as a Shellac mani, I will take it! For me, it's a great at home alternative.

Vinylux Polish?
I just bought a few colors and brought them to my nail salon, turns out they already had them there. I love it! Now if only I could paint my own nails as good as they do them. I'd be set! I do find the dark colors hard to get off though. I still have traces of blue on my pink nails now lol

Vinylux Polish?
Just had this done yesterday! I had actually told the owner of my nail place about it months ago and she finally got it in yesterday. We'll see how it goes.

Since no one answered my question, I will ask you! Do you clean your nails with the Scrub Fresh prior?
Glad to hear you are enjoying it. I can't wait to use it.

No I didn't buy that. Just the polish and the top coat. I used regular polish remover to clean off my old polish first.
