Great Wolf Lodge
Hello, My husband & I are thinking of taking our 2 1/2 year old twins to Great Wolf in March. I was wondering if there are enough toddler activities for them? Do they offer connecting rooms or 2 bedroom suits? Any fun indoor spots in the area to visit? Thank you

Re: Great Wolf Lodge
We've been twice... Kids ranged from 2 to 5 and there was plenty to do .... Waterpark and other stuff.
Waterpark had slides for kids that were 2-4 and then 5 up and then adults. There was an arcade and a small bowling alley.
Can't say enough good things about Great Wolf.

Re: Great Wolf Lodge
I think your 2 1/2 year old would have fun there. There is a lot to do.
They have suites with separate bedrooms. But they are expensive! They can fit 6-8 people, so they prices are steep since they assume 8 people will be using the water park.
We prefer to stay in suites when we travel, because when the kids go to bed, we aren't forced to sit in the dark/silence. My kids don't stay up late even when we are away. We were going to book a suite for December for our family of 4, but the prices were just too high for one night (even mid-week).

Thank you for letting me know about the suites. When we go away we have to get a suite or we would feel like prisoners. How many nights is sufficient?

Re: Great Wolf Lodge
Since they are only 2 1/2 I would say one night is fine. You can use the water park the day you check in, and you can request (and pay for) a later checkout and use the water park the next morning too.

I only do a minimum of 2 nights there. It doesn't make sense to me to drive all that way to spend the night. Plus you don't get into your room until 4 and have to be out by 11am. I just feel like it's too rush rush for one night.

I agree. We went last year for one night. You can go to the water park at 1pm but your room isn't ready until 4. So you have to change in restroom area.
Then the next day you have to check out by 11, you are allowed to stay at the water park the rest of the day but again you would have to change in the changing area.
We are going back next month and staying 2 nights. Just seems to make more sense that way to have the comfort of a room to change in.

Lots to do there for kids. We went for my DD's 3rd birthday and we all had fun. We stayed for 2 nights because we went on a Groupon and it was a perfect amount of time. I think 1 night will feel too rushed.

Re: Great Wolf Lodge
Def get a suite! Plenty for that age to do! Go! But I would only suggest one full day and night with a late checkout.
