Coverting house to mother daughter house
I am new to this site, heard so many good things. so here goes....
My mother has a house in valley stream. As our family grows, and parents getting older i know i will have to take them in. Thinking about converting her house to a mother daughter. Can anyone recommend a general contractor they used? Dont know if its just worth taking over her house and repairing it, or just buying another home.

Keep in mind that if you want to do this legally, everything will have to be approved via permits by the town, and your taxes may go up. If you do not do this legally, it will be nearly impossible to sell,down the road if you don't have the permits.
