Silly underwear question
Do you just buy totally separate underwear when you have two kids same sex and age or close in age? LOL! My boys are 2 years apart and DS2 is just starting to go on the potty.

Re: Silly underwear question
Let me add that I pretty much throw out DS1's underwear when he outgrows it, but I saved some bc I'd rather DS2 have accidents in those then the new pairs I've got him. So far I have different characters, but they are pretty much close in size. DS1 is on the small side and DS2 has only been a drop behind him.

Re: Silly underwear question
I wouldn't throw them out, unless they have poop stains in them I pass undies down to my nieces! They get washed! That would be like throwing a bathing suit out because it covered your private parts (which I would never do!)

Good point. Thanks. Been using the older, but not stained ones for potty training.

Silly underwear question
My girls are 14 months apart and they wear the same ones. They each have a kind they prefer but they sometimes wear each others pairs.

Re: Silly underwear question
My girls are exactly the same size and always shared, but now I started putting their initials in them so they each wear wear their "own".

Silly underwear question
My boys are 2 years apart and we saved all the undies that were still in good shape. When our younger one decided to potty train (just a few weeks ago), we took him to the store to let him pick out one package of new underwear for him to get excited about. The rest are hand me downs from our first.

same-- I'm surprised at how common it is-- I just always considered underwear too personal to share, like a toothbrush. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with doing it though.
