BROWN RIDING BOOTS HELP
Please recommend a really trendy pair that would look nice with black leggings. Cant find anything online! Looking for a plain pair, knee high with no buckets, etc. Any ideas? Thanks ladies

IMO mixing brown and black is a no-no unless you go with a lighter color like cognac. I agree with looking at Frye.

I'm cheap AND I don't wear leather, so I have a pair like this (w/out the little bottom buckle - mine are from last season) From Madden Girl. I got them at Marshalls for 39.99

I usually buy Steve Madden boots. They are always on sale and the ones I have on today I have had since 2009 and they are just recently starting to go......an I wear them a few times a week and almost all year round (just not June July and Aug).

Eta: I meant there are a ton of brown riding boots priced moderately (not necessarily frye). Sorry! I should've been clearer!

They will probably last you as long as your car. You can have them resoled. Totally worth the money if you wear riding boots a lot. I wear them every weekend from October to April.

I'm wearing them right now with black skinny pants and oatmeal colored boot socks. I absolutely LOVE the brown riding boots with black leggings look

Mine look exactly like this but they're from Target They are real leather although I'm sure the quality doesn't come close to Fryes.

Same here! I just like brown boots better. I always wear brown with black. Whether it be cognac, tan or brown. But I also agree with a pp. to each her own

Love the FRYE boots. Just got a pair of the FRYE Veronica Slouch riding boots in black vintage, love them. They also have in a few shades of brown.
