Restaurants with private room?
I asked about catering halls last week but I rather not go that route.
I'm looking for a restaurant with a pirate room for about 50 people.
It's for a christening. The church is in plainview.
We would prefer something on the north shore ( we live in Huntington ) or not too far from plainview.
We are willing to travel. Just not too far.
Any suggestions other than la Familia?
We would do black stones or Prime but that would be expensive.

The whales tale in northport will let you use the private room which is part of the britana Yacht club. Room is on the water. Can hold 65 people and pricing is extremely not expensive. Room is very normal and plain but with walls of glass looking over the harbor.
Tutto pazzo, Porto vivo, Jonathan's and picolos are all restaurants I've been to a christening at.

bel vio (sp?) on jericho tpke
Piccolo Mondo on jericho also (not as private)
tutto pazzo in huntington used to have one

Peppercorns in Hicksville. Really nice room, great food and excellent prices.

There is no private party room in Commack but I think you could do an afternoon party and have the whole restaurant. Not sure about Woodbury. Their food is always top notch!

Me too, I would need a Friday or Saturday night for a holiday party so that wouldn't work.

Not sure if it's too far but we went to a small party at Hendrick's Tavern in Roslyn. Not sure of pricing, though.

I had my shower at mim's in syosset. The restaurant was closed down to the public for the party. It was great. Food was soo good!!!
