Anyone ever go to Eataly in NYC.

My DH and I have a rare day date next Saturday. We were thinking of going to the city and going to check that place out. Is it a nice spot?

Eataly has about 7 different restaurants within it's "store. Some are nicer than others. There's also a rooftop beer restaurant.

I know many people like Eataly, but to me, it feels like more of a tourist destination. If I had a date day with DH, it's not where I would personally choose to go.

best italian food ever! the service is wonderful. I ran into barbra streisand last time i went

seriously, best italian food in Manhattan.

Sit at the bar, have dinner and wine. soo much more romantic/ intimate sitting at the bar vs. across from each other at a table.

Ehh, I didn't think it was anything special. Maybe because I couldn't really buy anything or we would have had to cart our purchases all over the city that day.

my sister in law just went to Parm on Mulberry street and said the food was amazing they were on some food network show
