Does anyone use this practice? How are they? Which doctor is really good in the practice?

We use them. Never had any issues with any of the doctors. We mainly see Dr. Reinitz & love her! They have great hours too.

We have been taking DS there for 4 years and plan on taking our Chat Icon Chat Icon as well. They are ALWAYS able to squeeze us in if we have something urgent and I like all of the doctors I have seen there...

The only downfall is that it is a very LARGE practice so if you like the intimacy of a small establishment, then this is not it. I like being able to get an appt. ASAP and a script for anything I need without having to wait!!

I've been using them for 6 yrs and LOVE them. We go to the Islandia office.

We primarily see DR. Berman. He's awesome. He takes his time, he's experienced, and so nice. The offices on the whole are nice and it's very easy to get an appt. They are also open late and 7 days a week. I highly recommended them.

We use them for my older dd but not my ds cuz they don't let u delay shots n I wanna delay the mmr for a few months. Besides that, I have no complaints. We go to the mt Sinai office.

This! I've been using them for DD and went there myself when I was younger but I've been looking for a new practice because I've faced a lot of opposition and difficulty delaying the MMR. They won't delay anymore. They are definitely great getting you right in, but overall I just haven't been happy with the vaccine situation.

Is this a new policy? They let me delay Ds's mmr vaccine till he was 2. This was last year.

They sent out a letter a few months ago that they will no longer delay vaccines. DD goes here and we like them a lot but will probably go elsewhere when she hits 12 months since I want to delay MMR.

I never received a letter, but I was told verbally that they had a big meeting and they won't do it. I had put it off til 2 and had a breakdown in the office at DD 2 year visit. They let me wait a few more months, but I could tell they were going to tell me it was vaccinate or don't come here. Honestly I felt very pushed and uncomfortable. They couldn't force me into it like they tried and I did ultimately skip the MMR that day. It's the one vaccine that my gut was just saying don't give her and as a mommy I have to go with my mommy instinct and that's it. I still haven't had it. Ironically DD gets sick every time she's supposed to.

I love it there. Very close to us and great hours. Never had a problem making an appointment. We mostly see Dr. Reinitz and she's great. I also love Amy Curran, she's very nice.

The office is very pro-vaccines. I am as well, so I have no issue with it. But if you want to delay vaccines at all, I'm pretty sure they will give you a hard time. So if that is important to you, I would have an honest discussion with them before you decide anything.

Re: Mid Suffolk pediatric

My kids see Dr. Manners and his daughter Tracy Manners mostly. I also like Dr. Seratof and Dr. Selden. When making an apt the receptionist usually tell me who is on and then give me times for the doctor i want to see for sick visits. Well checks I just tell them who I want to see and they make an apt with that doctor has availability.
I have no issues following the proper vaccination schedule so I love the office. That said my dd wasn't feeling her best at her well check when she was supposed to get her mmr so they put it off till next visit and with my ds1 had his put off till next visit because they were afraid he would react to it and we were going away.
Oh and I love that they are open everyday and so late. When one kid is sick I can wait for my dh to get home at 7 and then take the sick kid instead of all 3 kids.
