Bday Gift ideas for 5 year old boy

particularly one who is youngest out of 3 so he seems to have more mature interests for that reason. Thanks!

DS is going to be 6.

Honestly, I prefer if people give him some kind of experience gift.

His bday is right after Christmas and he tends to receive more clothes and toys than he can use the whole year long from both sets of grandparents.

Some things he's gotten in the past were movie giftcards, Chucky Cheese, gymnastics lessons, even giftcards to places like DQ.

I've had family offer to pay for karate and swimming too when we are ready to enroll him.

I can see your point. And I too wish family would think that way. But this is a classmate not family so I'm looking for something inexpensive.

I think you can still get him a $20 giftcard to someplace.

One of the mom's at soccer was going to do that for a bday later today.

I know Stop and Shop sells movie giftcards.

I've been doing movie gift cards lately. I buy a a cardboard bucket of popcorn (walmart .99) and fill it with tissue and place it in the greeting card inside.
