Dr. San Roman NSLIJ
I just discovered that he has a Smithtown office and if I recall everyone loves him, high recommendations all around when he was at RSNY? Opinions?
I booked a consult for today to get his opinion on how to best move forward. Considering leaving RS of NY.

Re: Dr. San Roman NSLIJ
I've been all over the map.
I will say of the many doctors I have seen thru the years; I absolutely love Dr. San Roman. I love his mannerisms! He is so soft spoken and makes you so comfortable.
I would probably consider him again; but at this stage of the game; I'm beyond his help at this point.
You will love him.

Re: Dr. San Roman NSLIJ
I've heard wonderful things about him. My family OB Nurse Practitioner adores him. I had an appointment scheduled with him this month in case my cycle didn't work....if it hadn't, I would have definitely consulted with him.
Good Luck!

Which San Roman is this? What's his first name? Doesn't he have like 3 brothers and their all OBGYN's?

would love to know what he says, he left RSofNY but he started RsofNY back i the day.

He was my RE at rsny before my first miscarriage. He left by the time I went back. I went to his new office after my 3rd loss just to get a second opinion. He felt the plan that Trivax had for me was good and the Mineola office was more convenient so I stayed with rsny. Had I not liked Trivax I would have left rsny. San Roman said he left bc it became more about the business and he wasn't seeing as many patients and wanted a smaller practice where he was more hands on.

There's a reason he left RSNY too. I've heard good things about him!

never understood that reason because it was his practice, he was the head doc. he could have made changes...so odd

The meeting went well - lovely office, calm, caring staff with personal service. He is very calm, patient, compassionate and seems thorough. He doesn't want to rush anything and is taking a very measured approach to ensure my health and levels are aligned before even planning an FET. (unlike others). He was very big on Vitamin D levels stating that a recent study shows that low levels can reduce fertility results by 50%. He wants to see mine above 30 before proceeding. He doesn't think with my situation that metformin is necessary but suggested I check with my endocrinologist also.
I think after many IUI's and 3 IVF's at RSNY I need a change because I need to feel like this is a fresh start, a new beginning. I HATE the Mineola office at RSNY - what a disgusting parking lot and dreary building with 1 or 2 really grumpy nurses in the Surgery Room and frankly at this point I dread even going to Stony Brook or Mineola for another treatment. A new beginning with San Roman...I think I'll take it.

GOOD for you!! I agree, I hated the thought of going back to RSofNY for many reasons. Lots of luck with Dr. Gabriel
