Infertility doctors.
My last pregnancy I found out the both dh and I were carriers of cystic fibrosis. We were looking into ivf with pgd to try again for another one. My obgyn gave me the name of 2 doctors. Dr trivax and dr paulter. Has anybody used these doctors or heard anything about them? Usually I pick a doctor based on how close they are to my house, but this seemed a little to important to do that. Thanks in advance!

Re: Infertility doctors.
You may be better off posting this on the Infertility board as more girls would have experience with these doctors there. I met Dr Palter for a consult but I had issues that I didn't feel Dr Palter was experienced enough with so I ultimately went with an RE that would treat those specific issues.

Re: Infertility doctors.
You want to aim for the RE with the best lab if you are relying on PGD. I would recommend SIRM with Dr. Tortoriello and Dr. Wang. Their embryologist is top notch. Dr. Palter just opened his new office and has his own embryologist but they are so new that I don't know much about the data. I saw him for a few months and moved on but this was last fall when he literally just moved in. As for RSoNY/Dr. Trivax, their lab is not the best among REs. Just my opinion.

I believe you can check out the lab success by checking SART data.

Me too(well one with his help). Working on another now!
A couple of popular OBs (LIJ affiliated)that ladies on this board uses have used Dr Trivax to get pregnant(and have had success).

Re: Infertility doctors.
I also have been with RSONY Dr stelling, trivax, sung and others for the past 5 years. I have one son from them and am newly preggers with another. They are like family to us and they are not in the business of being a baby factory at all. They truly are there to guide you and take care of you. They don't give up on you.
