Brown riding boots

What color handbag and jacket do you wear with yours? I typically carry a black bag and wear a grey jacket. I hate mixing these colors with brown. I own brown handbags but they all feel so summery to me. What do you carry?

I dont change my bag and jacket with any outfit.

I have a black or a green fall coat and a black winter coat.

My work bag is a berry color and my weekend bag is deep grey.

I wear my brown boots with anything and everything

I keep hearing my grandmother in my head telling me not to mix black and brown. This is prob just an outdated thought.

Everything I have on right now is brown or beige and then my bag is black

I am not a bag person, so when I have to carry a bag it wont be dependent on which color boots im wearing. My brown bag isnt functional for work so I stuffed it in my black bag and left. Same thing goes for coats/jackets, if I dont have a matching color it is what it is. To me those are accessories separate from my outift. Once I am indoors, the coat and purse are set aside.

I only switch my bag twice a year. Spring and fall. If my bag doesn't match my boots one day, oh well. Same with my coat.I can't afford to own bags and coats to match every outfit nor do I have time to switch bags constantly. So I buy neutrals when I buy those items.

Fr the fall I love a deep hunter green or cranberry bag. Both go with black or brown or grey or navy. I have a hard time mixing black and brown too. I want to be fashion forward but I just can't do it. Same with navy and black. Although when done right looks awesome.
