Size of a slider
I'm planning to make sliders for DS's bday party, but not sure what is a good diameter to make them. If it helps, I'm going to cut the cheese for the top in the Batman logo.

How big is your logo? You can use one of your smallest measuring cup, ice cream scoop or lid of something to get a perfect diameter. Rachel Ray recommends pushing your thumb down in the middle of the slider a bit before cooking. Forgot why but I'm sure it's for something! You might want to google her making them they looked really good.

Check out the slider buns in the bread section at the store to maybe give you an idea!

The reason for that is because burgers puff up a bit when they are cooked. Pressing your finger in the middle of it creates an indent that will puff up so the burger will be flatter after it's cooked, instead of rounded.
I don't think she made up that trick...
