backdrop for holiday photos
I am having a VERY hard time w this
(not sure why)
please dress me
My DH and LO want to wear plaid shirts but i think its too much

I personally wouldn't do plaid with that background. It would be too busy and the pic of the shirt you posted also doesn't match...
I would stick with solids... Greys... reds... even greens... Maybe just a plaid bowtie for the little one if plaid is something you really want in the pic...
Maybe a hint of plaid in red could work but not an entire shirt of plaid in my opinion...
I would coordinate the outfits but not do matchy matchy

ITA. The background is a little busy so I would keep the outfits on the simpler side.

Thanks I changed everything entirely
Sending happy new year cards out
Changed the back drop to a formal look
Me: violet fitted shirt w black cords
DH: gray collared shirt w black jeans
Lo: either hunter green sweater w black jeans or black sweater w grey jeans.
