Having work done in your home
Do you stay in your home the entire time work is being done? I'm talking about sheetrock, electricial, plumbing, etc. that will take several hours over a few days.

Re: Having work done in your home
We are doing major renovations right now. We are without a working kitchen and lost one of our bathrooms. We have had electrical, plumbing done. We have had hours during the day without water or electric. It sucks especially with kids. We make it work. We wouldn't be able to relocate for 6-8 weeks time. If you can have everything not being worked on sealed off to cut down on the dust. We had a temporary wall built in our hall to cut down on dust/noise.

Depends on who is doing the work. If its someone that we've used for other jobs or we are otherwise comfortable with, then we dont stay home. If its say a guy coming for a single job from a big company that we dont know then yes we stay home the entire time.
