Snow boots

DH is 9 size 5... He grew out of last years snow boots and I need to get new pair but the big clunky ones he told me are babyish...

What would you get and where do I find them... Should I get work boots? But I think those are not good in the snow...

I am at a loss and I a, usually good at this... I think he needs boots that tie up??

Any suggestions...

You have a YOUNG DH!! LOL!!! Lands End has a 30% off code right now (check ebates), and I think they have decent looking ones.

Re: Snow boots

Last year I found a pair of camouflage snow boots and my son loved them. He though they were cool (he's nine and a half now and also size 5). They were cheap from like Kmart or something and warm and water proof. They were pull on with Velcro but my son loved that they were army like.

I hate spending money on snow boots as they outgrow so fast and my son would never wear to school - only to play in the snow.

Snow boots

walmart. plain boring snow boots, waterproof, furry lined, usually velcro to make it snug. and cheap. why pay a ton of money for boots they might wear a couple of times, depending on the amount of snow we get.

Thanks for all of your help..

I got the north face tie up from Bloomingdales during friends and family. Got them a little big so they last more than a season.

He loved them.. Thank goodness!
