2 hour glucose test??
Has anyone heard of or taken the 2 hour glucose test. My OB office now uses this test in place of the 1 and 3 hour test. It is just one test, 2 hours, and if any of your numbers are off you fail. No second chances.
This test is scaring me! I had no issues with my first pregnancy, but I failed the 1 hour with my second pregnancy and then my numbers were low for the 3 hour.
I just don't like the idea of just one chance!

Yes I've done it twice. My first pregnancy I failed and had GD. This pregnancy, somehow, I passed.
I wouldn't look at it as "just one chance" - you don't drink the same concentration of the glucose drink for different (1, 2, 3 hour) tests. So you can't really compare, kwim?

Thanks! I know it the whole "just one chance" it totally psychological and in my head. I just keep thinking that i failed the 1 hour last time and then passed the 3 hour with flying colors. This time if I fail I fail. Oh well...hoping for the best!

2 hour glucose test??
I had to do the 2hr test this time. With my son 6 yrs ago I did the 1 hr. I passed both times.
