Gift help (not for christmas)
We just found out that the father of a friend of DSs just passed away. I am contributing to a class fund for food for the family but would like to get something for the children. There are 3 kids boy 9, girl 9 and a younger sister (not sure of age). What is something we can get for the kids to take their mind off this terrible tragedy?

Maybe some kind of experience gift?
Like gift cards to the movies or something they can do that is fun.

When DD was in Kindergarten one of her friends dad died I bought food over to the family and for the little girl I bought arts and crafts and a book called "the invisible string"...the mom was so grateful as it gave her DD something to do while there was guests visiting etc and she liked the story in the book.

Where did this happen? Nassau/suffolk
I am wondering if the 9yr old are twins.
