Holiday Party Help
I started a new job about a month ago. I've been invited to 2 holiday parties - one at Venetian Shores and one at Lombardis on the Sound. Both are lunch parties. One is for the department I work in and one is being given by an outside professional association. Any thoughts on what to wear? (I have to dress pretty professionally on a day to day basis - if not a suit, then a dress or skirt). I would like something that is fun and festive, but still professional, I guess?

I would probably do a spin on your normal work attire - black pants/skirt/jacket etc. with a top that has some kind of sparkle or shine, or just some more sparkle/shine jewelry. Daytime sparkle...

Are they during the work day or on the weekend? If it's a work day, I would just wear holiday colors along with your normal business attire.
