Black cocktail dress with royal/cobalt blue shoes? (added link to pic of shoes)
Yay or nay?
I found a pair of shoes that I LOVE and have no reason to buy other than to wear with a black dress - but is that OK? I am so stuck with only wearing black shoes with a black dress, but would love to do something different. Am I just chicken and in a rut? Or am I crazy for thinking about bright shoes with a black dress? (I'm so clueless when it comes to this stuff!)

yes-those are bright! the only way I wouldn't wear blue with black is if it was dark navy & looked like to tried to match but didn't. Black + any bright color works.

I'm actually the opposite. I hate wearing black shoes with a black dress. I think those shoes are amazing and now I want them.

I don't normally spend that much on shoes, but I really love these. So I need to at least be able to justify them somehow!
