First failed IUI
I think I need to take a month off from this, I can't afford all these monitoring copays at christmas time. Is there anything I can do to increase my chances next time.

Re: First failed IUI
How many follies did you have? An IUI only ups your chances to about 10-20%, so it's still a relatively low chance of it working. However, if it's going to work, it will likely work in the first 3 months or so. So don't give up! I know it's tough, but the journey is worth it when you're holding your LO.

First failed IUI
Sorry hun! My insurance wouldn't cover ivf without trying 6 iuis first so I was forced to do 6 of them! 1st one was a chem pregnancy then the rest were all bfns. I did get pregnant on my first ivf cycle though! Don't give up though! Sometimes a break is nice too during the craziness especially with the holidays coming! Good luck!!

When they kept doing sonos they were only saying that there was one on each ovary. My sister told me that was really low though. could they have only been talking about the largest one on each side?

usually when you go in for monitoring, they tell you about ALL the maturing follicles you have, not just the largest ones. at least that is what they do when i go in. obviously, not all of them will be mature enough when it comes time, some will br smaller than others, but they still tell me about them.

They probably meant you had 1 lead on each side. So 2 follies.

Ask dr Brenner to up your clomid dosage to 100.. That could give you more follies.

I had only 1 total with all 4 IUIs, all medicated. So 1 on each side could be right.
