Bad beta question -xp

I asked in the IF group but maybe you can help me here as well.

Sorry to post this in hiding, but I have a question about my never ending betas. got pregnant without any intervention (prebvious IF history) so i dont know exactly when I ovulated.

11/20: 76 (guessing around 12 dpo)
11/22- 164
had a small bleeding episode so i went for a third beta

11/24- 242- doc is concerned and sends me for more
11/26- 301
11/28- 340 - starts to get concerned about ectopic
12/1- 1231- sono shows no ectopic- but he saw a sac that was irregularly shaped and didnt seem hopeful. however the sac was measuring the right day, give or take a few days. he recommends a d&c.

12/3- 2300

At this point im going for another sono tomorrow and will set up a d&c. I'm so tired and just want this to be over and the doctor is insistent that it's just my placenta taking over which is making the betas rise. I'm hoping he's not right but it seems so. I've also been spotting red/brown the entire time. i'll supposedly be roughly 5w,5d tomorrow, which could still be too early to see a hb.
i guess in my heart i know it's over but i wondered if i should hold out till next week? im not sure if i can mentally do it.
any stories or advice? TIA

I don't have experience with this and am new to the beta methodology but at first glance those numbers don't seem real bad to me. Is the only thing that's really concerning the doctor that the sac was irregularly shaped?

I'm sorry you are going through this! The reason why your doctor may be concerned is the numbers between 11/24-11/28 did not double; then the sudden jump.

Hopefully you see something when you go back. I can't really say if you should or not wait another week. It's really a personal choice.
