when is it safe for sex and trying again?
i will ask on tuesday at my appointment, but does anyone have insight on this?

when is it safe for sex and trying again?
My OB said the same, wait for first period to come after miscarriage and then start trying again. Although, one of my friends who experienced miscarriages as well, her doctor wanted her to wait 2 - 3 cycles, so it probably varies from doctor to doctor. It took about 6 weeks for my period to come after both miscarriages.
After first miscarriage, we waited for first period, and then got pregnant again right away, which miscarried at 6 weeks. After that we decided to wait 2 cycles to give my body some time to heal after 2 concurrent miscarriages.

This is exactly what happened to me. I started and ended the summer with miscarriages, I think you can physically a start after your first period, but see how you feel mentally. I'm still not ready, going to new RE at the end of the month. Do what feels right.

We tell patients to wait until after 2 periods, but when I had my first fetal demise around 27/28 weeks I didn't get a period the following 2 months but somehow got pregnant again. I had spotting but no flow the entire 6-8 weeks.
