So with this rain...
My rain boots (first pair I've had since I was a kid) has a crack in the top of them. So now I'm looking to invest in a good pair of rain boots...looking for reviews on Hunter rain boots. Do you have the tall or the short? Glossy or Flat? Sizes...do you feel they run true to size, small or big? What color do you have as well? I'm leaning towards either the gray or the black.
TIA

Re: So with this rain...
I didn't have any luck with Hunter boots.
I'm a 9-1/2 and since rain boots don't come in half sizes (dumb!) I tired on the 9 and 10. Tall and Short. None fit me right. And I felt they were so big around the ankle.
I ended up with a pair of Kamik that I love. Best $65 I ever spent.

Do you mind posting which ones specifically you got? And did you go up to the 10 or go with the 9? How do they run size wise? I never owned rain boots but between Saturday and today I really could have used them! Don't want to spend a forture either because with the way my luck runs, the second I purchase rain boots, we will be in for a 5 year drought!

First winter I had Uggs we barely got snow and it wasn't that cold. Told my mom I'll take a new pair of Uggs each year if that's the winters we would get!!!

I ordered the 9 & 10 and the 10 fit comfortably. They are the Jennifer style.
They are so comfortable I even wear them when it isn't raining

Some of the reviews say they are very hard to get off - do you find that is true??

Re: So with this rain...
I have a pair of Hunter short glossy black and I hate them.
I also have these and I love them (but I can only wear them with skinny pants/leggings/tights):

I have tall Hunters in glossy black. They are hard to get off also. I love them for days like this. Only thing is you needopt socks with them bc they don't keep your feet warm.

No. Never had that problem.
I always take them off with my foot to the ankle of the other foot.

Re: So with this rain...
I have the tall Huntress. I am a size 8 pants but, I have shapely calves. They run very very skinny. So I would suggest trying them on even if you are going to order online. That way you know if you have the right width.

So with this rain...
I discovered today that my hunter rain boots have a hole. I ended up with cold, wet feet all day. They are 9 years old but I am still annoyed. They were not cheap!

Same here. I have small feet, so mine are kids size including the Boot Socks.

I have a pair of Bootsi Tootsi (not 100% about spelling) from Kohls. Navy Blue with cream trim.
I walked through several puddles today taking DS to and from preschool. My feet were warm and dry. Rain boots are a fabulous investment.

I have hunters, mine is a dark eggplant color and glossy. Love them! Bought from Nordstrom last year in November when they had a great sale.
