What is the difference between MaterniT21 and Panorama?
When I had my initial appointment, I asked my doctor if I would do the MaterniT21 and he said no because I'm not high risk (even though I'm 35). He said I could do it but it would be through a different office. He said they offered the Panorama test. What's the difference? Is it just a different name of the same test? Has anyone done the other?

What is the difference between MaterniT21 and Panorama?
same test...different manufacturer. i had the panorama test done...that's what my doctor offered.

What is the difference between MaterniT21 and Panorama?
They're the same test but done in different labs. They check your insurance and see which lab to send it to so it's covered.

What is the difference between MaterniT21 and Panorama?
They use different methods but both are supposed to be pretty accurate. Panorama might check for more things, it's been a while since I looked at it. I think the microdeletions were only from panorama, but that wasn't part of the basic test so it was more expensive. I recall panorama had a comparison of the tests somewhere on their website.

They're noninvasive definitive. The nt scan (ultra screen) accesses your risk, but is not definitive.
