Hot appetizer recipes
I am having friends over and want to make a few hot appetizers. I bought little hot dogs and am making spinach artichoke dip, but want to make something else. Haven't seen anything in the stores. Any good easy recipes?

Re: Hot appetizer recipes
These are my favorites:
Crecent Cheeseburger Ring
Taco Cupcakes
Mini Rice Balls
Stuffed Mushrooms
Parmesan Bites <-- thinking of making these for Christmas Eve.
Some other simple ideas are cheese quesdillas, mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers, 7-layer dip with chips.

Hot Clam Dip
It is like eating baked clams without the shell. SOOOO yummy!
1 stick margarine (can use butter) 2 chopped cloves garlic 2 cans minced clams 1 teaspoon parsley 1 teaspoon oregano 1 teaspoon grated cheese 1 cup bread crumbs 1 teaspoon lemon juice 10 drops Tabasco sauce Paprika (optional) (I don't use this) Preheat oven to 350° F. Melt margarine in frying pan and sauté garlic. Add 2 cans of clams with juice. Simmer about 3 minutes. Add dash of lemon juice and Tabasco sauce.
Mix in bowl, bread crumbs, grated cheese, oregano, and parsley. Combine the wet ingredients to the dry. Place in baking pan. Top mixture with a dash of paprika if using. Bake for 20 minutes. Serve with crackers.
