Anyone have any seafood appetizer recipes they would recommend?
I'm planning on picking up some sushi grade tuna and am trying to figure out how to present it. Any ideas?
I'm also trying to think of something different to do seafood wise besides shrimp cocktail or crab dip.

chop it up and serve it with fried or baked wonton wrappers/cups with a sauce using soy sauce! Often served with avacado chuncks mixed in, but I can't eat that so I would leave it out.
other ideas for more seafood: mini crab cakes baked clams roasted shrimp cocktail scallops wrapped in bacon

Stuffed mushrooms with crab...
Bread crumbs, olive oil, minced garlic, salt and pepper, and crab meat chopped up.
I made this up for christmas this past year. it was a big hit, that I didn't make enough. lol.

they are in the produce section of the supermarket near herbs, pre-pealed garlic, etc. I get them at stop and shop and waldbaums all the time! I love to bake them in a mini-muffin pan and make little cups!

Crab stuffed Mushrooms were a big hit on Christmas!
I also like to do the puff pastry cups, sorta like the wonton wrappers, except the puff pastry all you do is pop in the oven (in the frozen section).
Scallops/shrimp wrapped bacon, you can put them on skewers with dates, or a nice veg etc.
Shrimp salad on triscuits?

I really like Lobster Tartlets!
With the wonton wrappers, I bake them in mini muffin cups for 15 mins at 350 and let them cool. Then I get trader joe's langoustino tails (defrosted and squeezed of excess liquid) and add 1 tbsp mayo and 1/2 stick melted butter and a little squeeze of lemon juice and put a little shredded lettuce in the bottom of the cup and lay the lobster on top- its like a mini lobster roll and its yummy!
