Gender Reveal Cake - Where did you get it?
I want to do a gender reveal cake and wondering where to get it quickly.
We are going to find out the gender on Thursday and I am going to have my DR put it in an envelope.
I want to take that to a bakery or a even a grocery store for them to make me a cake for Sunday.
Do you think that would be possible? If so, any suggestions on where?

We had our made at Dortoni's. I have them the envelope on thurs night and had the cake Friday afternoon.
They said they've even had cakes done the same day

Got my cupcakes done at Torta Fina in Babylon. They were delicious. Any local bakery can probably do them!

I didn't do a gender reveal but I just wanted to second that Torta Fina is AMAZING! I would go with them, we get cakes from them all the time and everyone raves about how delicious they are. Not sure where you're located but they also have a store in Commack.

Yes, absolutely a bakery will be able to accommodate getting the slip on Thursday/Friday and then pickup on Sunday (assuming its not a holiday weekend where they'll be super busy). I love The Cake Gallery on Jerusalem Road in Bellmore. Tom is amazing -- the cakes are beautiful and taste great.

We got ours at Alpine in Smithtown.
I have used Audrey's in Sayville for cakes too.
Both are amazing bakeries.

It was really good. And cute. I just had them do the cake whatever color the gender was (which was blue) and they did a whipped cream outside (whipped cream was layered on really thick so we couldn't see any cake)
And they have a bunch of sayings you could choose from and then put pink and blue question marks all over.
If I had the time and money I would have done a more elaborate design but I couldn't wait any longer and they were fast.

Would you mind sharing how much it was? Dortoni is close to my house and the design sounds good to me.

I forget the exact size it was (maybe a 10" square?)
It was in the $40s range
