Nut Free Holiday Treat Suggestion
Taking DD to a small Christmas party at our church tomorrow and were told we can bring in nut free goodies. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Nut Free Holiday Treat Suggestion
Lots of bakeries offer nut free options and even supermarket bakeries. Trader joes has stuff too and it will clearly say processed in a nut free plant.
There is also a bakery, eleni's that is entirely nut free

My son has food allergies (peanut, tree nut and sesame). We do not let him eat anything from bakeries and there are almost no cookies at Trader Joe's that are safe for him to eat besides their Snickerdoodles which are "Enjoy Life" cookies rebranded.
I would stick to Enjoy Life brand which is free of the top 8 allergens and can be found at many supermarkets and even places like Big Lots. You can also try Maplehurst brand cupcakes or Lofthouse cookies as long as you see the peanut/tree nut-free symbol on the package.

Re: Nut Free Holiday Treat Suggestion
Trader Joes is not a great option imo. Much of their stuff is processed in a facility with nuts. I typically don't trust regular bakeries either. You can find nut free baked goods in some supermarket bakeries. You could make brownies maybe from nut free brownie mix. I think Pillsbury is ok but check the label for ingredients and allergen alerts.

I think oreos are also considered a good alternative. Maybe You can do something with those.
