HSG Test/Semen Analysis Results are in!
Original Post: I'm set to have my HSG test tomorrow. I'm starting to get nervous. Not for the actual test but for what could or couldn't be a problem. DH is setup for Semen Analysis Saturday morning. So within the next 48 hours we will have some answers... or maybe not. Part of me wants to know what's wrong and the other wants there to be nothing wrong, but that could then mean there's just an unknown issue. I'm feeling well... "strange". For those that have gone through so much more then me (I'm only a few weeks into this process) how do you handle it? Also, I have ZERO infertility coverage so the cost is starting to scare me too!
ETA: Update, tubes are clear. I'll know about DH tomorrow.
ETA: Semen Analysis was all normal but motility was low. RE suggested a retest. He's hopeful it was just a result of timing and abstinence. DH isn't taking it well.

Re: HSG Test Tomorrow, Semen Analysis Saturday = Nerves!!!
Hopefully you will get some answers with these tests. Once you have answers you will know how to proceed(IUI, IVF, Clomid, etc). I'm not going to lie infertility costs can add up but they usually have options such as financing etc.
Good luck

HSG Test Tomorrow, Semen Analysis Saturday = Nerves!!!
My HSG was clear, but my mom had a tubal issue that required surgery. After her surgery (the surgeon is still practicing in this area, btw), she had three babies all in a row! Also, IVF circumvents tubal issues, anyway. It sounds weird, but I almost hope it's something that simple for you.

Go see Dr Girardi she's an amazing urologist. Dh had poor morphology but after it was washed for the iui'so his numbers were great. Sometimes it's simple, sometimes it's not - but Dr Girardi can guide you!

Because all other tests were normal my RE is suggesting a re-test first. Hopefully all is good then. If not we will move to IUI and skip the urologist because of Insurance. My RE thinks even if the issue is there he feels IUI will get the sperm where it needs to be. I don't have infertility insurance so I'm nervous to jump to a Urologist first... but I will be keeping that name incase we do. Thank you!

Sounds good but fyi - you don't need infertility coverage to see a urologist. A urologist works with the urinary tract system and reproductive organs.
