Book Series Rec for 7 year old
DS loved Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Capt Underpants.
Any other book series like these?
The Ricky Ricotta ones are too easy for him and I'm not sure if Dork Diaries is for girls?

My DS is 7 and loves the Matt Christopher and Dan Gutman (the sports series) books they are very sports oriented which he loves. He reads way above grade level though (and I'm not sure where the ones you listed are leveled) so others he has read in the past that are more second grade level - Geronimo stilton, magic tree house the fiction and non-fiction companions, horrible harry (after meeting suzy kline)... Hth!
Edited to clarify - both authors write a sport series of chapter books and those are the ones I was referring too.

My weird School and Bad Kitty Series is along that line as well. MY 7 year old likes those books as well. He also reads all the magic tree house - those are a easy read for him - reads them in a day.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid is what got DS actually enjoying books. Now he's reading the Magic Treehouse series.

magic tree house is good
DS's teachers said the kids like the stink series
We have taken George Brown Class Clown out of hte library and its funny....

My son loves the Timmy Failure books by Stephan Pastis. There are only 3 out so far, but he's enjoyed them all.
