Freaking out
Just went to bathroom and more blood, it seemed like a lot and then it just stopped. I've already had one bleeding episode a few weeks ago and we did see a heartbeat last week but over the last few days my symptoms have also decreased. I called the emergency line but I doubt they will do anything for me today. I am supposed to go in tomorrow to check my estrogen level during monitoring hours, I wonder if they will do a quick Sono for me. Probably not. I was alreAdy released to my ob and my first appt is on tues. I guess I can call them tomorrow and see if they will see me early worse case. Ugh, I can't take this

Don't stress! When I was released from re but still going for progesterone monitoring they wouldn't give me a Sono when I was bleeding. I was pissed honestly, but I get it. So you're probably right in thinking they won't. See if your ob can see you sooner.
Like a lot of girls, I had spotting/bleeding episodes in the beginning of my successful pregnancy. Good luck!

Thanks! I spoke to on call and she said they wouldn't bring me in today but since I'm going into re tomorrow to talk to my Nurse and she might give me a Sono. Bleeding has stopped, now just light brown spotting. I'm just nervous bc I don't have too many symptoms this time around so it's playing mind games with me. If I can't get a Sono tomorrow I'll call my OB. He's pretty good with things like this so sure he would let me come in early. Thanks!

You can go to one of those urgent care places. I believe they have an ultrasound machine. How many weeks are you?

Also try not to look into symptoms especially if you're on estrogen and progesterone since they aren't "true" symptoms. My boobs didn't hurt with DD since I was pretty much weaning off the progesterone. Only thing I have is leukhorrhea.

Maybe it's a subchroionic hematoma? Try not to worry. Have you thought about getting a home Doppler for times like this for peace of mind?

Re: Freaking out
I can only say that I've been bleeding for almost 3 weeks with 3 separate terrifying 'red scares,' as I call them, and babe is still intact and on track. Try your best not to assume the worst and advocate for that ultrasound! It will make you feel better

Freaking out
When I was about 11 weeks I woke up with bright red blood. It was a subchronic hemotoma (sp) but I was scared sh9tl9ss. I went to the ER at the recommendation of my OBGYN. I got a sonogram there. Thank goodness! I would insist on a sono and call the OBGYN and see if they can squeeze you in tomorrow.
PRaying for you!

I would def try and have your RE's office squeeze you in tomorrow for a sono since you'll already be there and you want piece of mind. GL!

I rented a doppler last time too. It really got me through. I plan on getting one this time too.

Freaking out
Went to re this am for them to Check my estrogen level and if the pa was in they would have done a sono but she is out with her son who has the flu and the sono tech can't do it. I only have slight spotting so I called my OB office and they said most likely I will get a sonogram tomorrow given the recent bleed. I should be used to this, I bled for 22 weeks off and on with my first from a hematoma but I guess you never do get used to it. I feel better today since they ran all my labs and said my numbers were good and I have been having some morning sickness so that calms me down some too. I will just have to wait until tomorrow and hopefully its the outcome i am praying for. Thanks for talking me Off the ledge yesterday!

Happy the numbers were good. One more day for the sono. Sounds like it is/was the hematoma.

I went tonight and they did let me get a sono. I have a pretty big hematoma right below baby so I will def have another bleed. I figured this was going to be the case, it was so hard to see bc my uterus is so high that you can't see with a vaginal ultrasound. We did abdominal and saw the baby right away. I am measuring a few days shy but she said that could also be the position-so far so good but not out of the woods yet. Thanks for thinking of me!
