Do you keep a journal?
I just got AF yesterday so I will have my hopefully one and only IUI this cycle. I have thought about starting a journal to get my thoughts and feelings out for a while and today I did. Just wonder if anyone else has done this or does this and how it has helped you or hurt you to have it in black and white.

Writing helps, never hurts. Get it all out on paper....write away!

Re: Do you keep a journal?
Yep, it was helpful in dealing with the infertility because, even though I know there are so many who deal with it, you still feel alone. It was helpful during my iui process in particular so I wouldn't forgot certain things. After my MC's it helped to get everything out. I wanted to talk about it to my friends and family but didn't at the same time. It's made me feel a little more open and less isolated. I don't reread it very often but it did help release some of the anger, fear and hopelessness. It won't hurt to try!

Re: Do you keep a journal?
not a journal per say, but I did document our last cycle through photos last time around. It was nice to have a visual timeline of events. I also have notes on my phone that I've written a lot in. It helped me deal with my chemical. Personally, having an outlet to help me through this journey is the only thing keeping me sane

Re: Do you keep a journal?
I sort of do. I write down what happens at each appt - bloodwork, sono, size of follicles etc. I also write down any symptoms I have after my transfer. I tend to think about things wayyyy too much, I find that once I write it down my brain calms down a bit.
