What's normal cramping?
I've been having very mild period like cramping on and off for about 2 weeks now. The first time I called the dr they said to stay hydrated and of my feet for a while. They aren't consistent enough to time. More of a dull cramp. I still can do things. I'm only 28 weeks. How normal is cramping at this point? I didn't really have this with my first so I'm clueless!

Re: What's normal cramping?
I didn't have it with my first either, this time I'm 32 weeks and STILL getting them here and there to the point that I have to breath through them. I had everything checked and there are no problems, so the dr just said "it's from being pregnant". Apparently it is normal, as long as there's no blood.

That's what they told me too. As long as there's no bleeding and baby is moving than its just normal pregnancy pains.

I am 33 weeks and get them on and off. It's usually the first sign that you aren't drinking enough water so try drinking and resting

That's the thing too. How much water should we actually be drinking? I think I'm drinking enough, but maybe not?!

enough so that your pee is clear or almost clear. for me this is 80-100oz per day.

For me I still get them even when I'm drinking an insane amount of water. So don't get nervous if you still get them while drinking plenty

I get them too. I usually try to drink some water and put my feet up. If it lasts longer than a few hours though, I would call the doc. It could be a sign of a bladder infection.

Re: What's normal cramping?
I ask my husband this all the time lol. I am 30 weeks on Wednesday and I get stop me in my tracks cramping pretty frequently. I have never had contractions since I made it to my c sections both times. So I'm right there with you wondering when to call the doctor and when not to.
