6 weeks pregnant-ob recommendations pls =)
Hi my name is Teresa and I am 28!
I just found out I was pregnant two weeks ago..my husband and I are so excited and nervous at the same time!!!
If anyone can recommend a great doctor they used I would truly appreciate it =). Im In Suffolk but will go anywhere on LI for a good doc. My doctor's office is impossible to make an appt, and I do not want to deal with that all pregnancy =)

Where do you want to deliver? There are so many OBs in Suffolk so knowing which hospital you want would help narrow the recommendations down.

I don't know where in suffolk you're looking but my ob dr erhart is amazing!!! He delivered my first dd and I'm so calm going into the second time with him. He has one other dr in the office dr Tufano. She's just as great! They don't have covering drs, so one or the other WILL deliver your baby! They only go to st Charles, which I like because it's a smaller hospital. Loved it when I was there.
They are located on 112 in port Jeff. I never have problems with appointments and the longest I've waited is like 20 minutes, but on average I usually only wait 10-15 mins. They have 2 nurse practitioners in the office that you see early in the pregnancy, then towards the end they only schedule you with either dr. Lmk if you have any questions

I go to dr vullo and dr sampino in west Islip and I love them! They're amazing and all the staff is great too!

Another Dr. Erhart fan here! Love him and basically everyone in the practice up the the ladies at the front desk. Totally agree about wait times, never more than 10-15 minutes. Good Luck!

I've delivered at 3 different hospitals on Long Island and now with my 4th I am going back to Stony Brook. IMO the privacy, the intimacy, the technology and of course the food (haha) were all big factors for me and I felt most comfortable there.
With that I go to Stonybrook Gyn/Ob...they are phenominal there. I believe their are a lot of women from these boards that go there. They have offices in East Setauket, Rocky Point and Bohemia.

YES Dr welischar is the best here-- dr lochner and the other female are good too!

I'm very happy with Stonybrook OBGYN. They caught an issue that another Dr. missed completely, and have been wonderful to work with. I had a slight concern and they took me in right away. I chose them initially on referral, but also because they deliver out of Stonybrook.
