RE recommendation
Hi everyone! I am looking for some help with finding a new RE. My DD was born through IUI from Dr. Rosenfeld at NSUH in 2013. I have unexplained infertility. Since then he has retired. I was not impressed by any of the other doctors in the group back then that I met. I am now ready to try to conceive again. This time I would like somewhere that has early morning appointments or late at night appointments. I was thinking of seeing Dr. Zapantis because he has appointments at 6am but I don't know too much about him or his practice, or anyone who has used him. Can anyone recommend a group or doctor that has 6 am appointments or very late appointments that they love?? Thanks in advance!!!!

RE recommendation
I know some people have mixed feelings but I used RSNY and I loved Dr. Halfen. He was the sweetest man and I felt so comfortable with him. DD is now 14 months old. They had early appointments and the nurses were so sweet. I used the west Islip office.

RE recommendation
I really like LIIVF and had a great experience there -- I went to the Melville office and if I remember correctly, monitoring appointments start at 6:30AM. I saw Dr. Kenigsberg but also had great interactions with Dr. Brenner who did my IVF transfer. Good luck!

LI IVF and RMA have early hours. I cant remember but I believe a dr performs the sonos. You will never see a Dr that early at RsofNY
Does Dr Zapantis see pts that early? i know he calls pt before 8 AM

I loved LIIVF. I'm pretty sure their monitoring starts at 6:30 but I never had a doctor do a sono that early. It was always a nurse.
ETA- I think it was actually always a PA.

Stonybrook liivf is great they have 630 am appts but if you are there first (get there at like 545/6am) and depending on who is working you can be out of there by 620 -630 since they get in early sometimes.

RMA monitoring started at 7am, but it was always with a dr. They only had late appts with drs for consultations. Loved them though.

Thank you everyone for your recommendations. I should of said that I am in Nassau county near East Meadow and I work in East Meadow, so I was hoping to find a doctor or group near here. The only reason I thought that Dr. Zapantis had 6 am appointments is because his website says that, but it could be wrong.

I cycled with Dr Z in 2013. At the time he had 6 AM appointments.

I haven't been there since I had my twins in 2011, so I know it's changed a lot but I adored Dr. Rosenfeld. He was already starting to wind down and so when I moved on from iui to IVF, I saw the other Drs in the practice. I begged him to do my IVF, but he was beginning his retirement hours  . I still think about him. I remember him telling me when he created the center there it was only him and only one nurse and REs were not really respected. They were thought to be OBs who couldn't hack it! Can you imagine???
He said after years and researching and building it up and getting many women pregnant only then did they start to receive respect and funding. It just amazes me. He is such a nice man.
