in search of a really good conditioner....
My hair is color treated, and feels so dry with this very cold weather, using the hair dryer and the coloring, it has taken a beating on my hair. I have thick curly to wavy hair. Any suggestions welcome!

Re: in search of a really good conditioner....
I use Conditioner in the shower and then I also use It's a 10 spray before I blow dry my hair. It is amazing. A little pricey $20 for a small bottle but my hair looks so healthy and I color and blow dry almost daily. You only need a couple spritzes. In the summers by daughters' hair always gets straw dry from swimming and the sun. They used this last summer and their hair stayed healthy.
ETA: I use Loreal EverPure Smooth conditioner (Sulphate free) for colored hair. I love it.

I love Fekkai Technician Color Care line - the regular conditioner is really good, but the masque (intensive conditioning) really makes my hair so soft

Re: in search of a really good conditioner....
in the winter i deep condition with a very good extra virgin olive oil
wrap my head in a towel, let it sit for twenty minutes
wash it out with regular shampoo
you could even put heat on it when it is wrapped in the towel -- like let the blow dryer on the towel so the hair inside warms up with the oil on it.
my hair dresser told me about it because it's natural and great for the hair.
man is it silky after. just have to make sure you really wash it out good.
and be careful not to slip in the shower after LOL!

Aussie moist once a week Biolage matrix hydra source once a week and it's a 10 leave in conditioner (recommended by hair dresser)
Just started this regimine about a month ago.
Thank you to whoever suggested a plastic bag instead of shower cap.

I've been using Tresemme Naturals and my hair has never looked better. However, I don't use shampoo. I also have curly hair and I do co-washing. My hair is super healthy - and I live in Canada with forced air heating, so drying!

in search of a really good conditioner....
I tried Orlando Pita Argan Gloss Conditioning Treatment (got it at Costco - not sure if it's sold elsewhere - Pita is a celebrity stylist) - it is amazing! I have tried a lot of conditioners because almost none work for me (wavy/curly hair which, as I've gotten older, has gotten drier). This stuff smells great and leaves my hair so soft. I also tried his shampoo - not a fan of that. Comes with a sample of his Argan oil too. And it's not expensive.

Coconut Oil! I either put it in for a few hours and wash it out or sleep in it overnight and wash the next morning.

Ha probably me. I used a plastic bag when I do the jojoba oil treatment. Sometimes being ghetto has its advantages lol

Every shower cap was either gross or ripped after I used it. Plastic bag did not rip, I have a ton around and I throw it after I use. Only use the cvs or Walgreen bags where food has not been.
