My short/long story:
My best friend moved away this summer, and it's been a little sad for me to be pregnant after all this time (struggling with IF) without her here. I decided to go visit her in Florida this week so we can do baby stuff together, including the registry. However, I'm only 14 weeks with a shower poised for June.
Can the BTDT moms offer some advice as far as what stuff I can put on there this far ahead and what stuff I should wait to add when the shower is closer because of stock/availability, etc. types of issues?
TIA

Re: Registering
June isn't that far away so I think you can register for anything now. You should maybe wait on clothes other than onsies and things like that. I have 2 winter babies and I notice new products come out around that time (I could be wrong). I just kept checking my registry online and would change a few things around. Just have fun registering with your friend and most things, if not all will still be there in a few months.

I agree register and then just before your invites go out check your registry online. You may gave to sub some stuff out. But I registered at 22 weeks and had to do that yesterday, a week before my first shower.
The only thing I'd watch is bedding. You'll be fine if you pick a newer bedding set. Mine was from 2012 and it's no longer even in BRU stores, just online, and the stock in BBB is dwindling. I almost changed it but I had bought some pieces and I love it. I think we're going to just make it, as only about 4 things from the set are left on the registry, but I was worried. Especially after both my dishes and bedding were discontinued between my engagement party and bridal shower, what a nightmare.
But outside bedding your not generally buying sets of things with babies, so you don't gave to worry about that so much.

Re: Registering
I agree: stuff doesn't change that much (except clothes). Have fun! You can always change the registry if something goes out of stock.

You can definitely register now. You may have to tweak it later on with certain seasonal stuff (clothes) but I say enjoy!
