Feels like something stuck in throat

Lately ive had almost a feeling of something clogged in my throat..it feels like I have to push it down with food or fluids but that doesnt help. I dont feel a lump and not to be gross but it feels like a mucous plug or something. It doesnt interfere with my breathing but its annoying. Im not sick and I dont have allergies. Any thoughts? Should I call my doctor? Ugh. Tia.

Sounds like acid reflux. Get some manuka honey and up your Vitamin D. In the winter months we get less Vitamin D than in the Summer, and that really screws up the digestive system.

I felt like I had a pea stuck in my throat.. It annoyed me so much--had an endoscopy and everything to see what was going on and it was from acid reflux. I took pepcid alot and that helped. If it is acid reflux you may need something stronger.

have you been stressed lately? this happened to me once. i would panic cause i thought i couldn't swallow without forcing it down. i went to the ENT and he said i was fine. he suggested stress and anxiety can cause this. he was right...once i dealt with the stress in my life at that time it went away. sometimes it comes back when im stressed. if thats not you then go see an ENT.
