Storage in utility closet
Do you store anything in the closer where your heater and hot water are?
The area was just redone and is a foot larger than in the past, it's a big area. Wondering if it's safe to put non flammables in there?
I'm not talking about stuffing it, you could access for service and there's space for air flow.

Storage in utility closet
Yup we have a vacuum cleaner, a few pots and pans, dog food, trash bags and laundry stuff and a few random other things.
Ours is in the kitchen so it's a perfect storage spot

Re: Storage in utility closet
In our old home we had our washer and dryer in the utility room. We also stored our vacuum in the same room.

Our washer and dryer are in that room. Also dh keeps his spackling vacuum and other spackling materials in there.
