Disposable Dry Washcloths/Wipes?
I went to a Baby Care Basics class last night with DH at the hospital we'll be delivering at and the nurse who gave the class said not to use the typical pre-moistened baby wipes for the first 2-3 weeks because of how sensitive the baby's skin is. Someone asked about the fragrance-free, sensitive baby wipes and she still said that it wasn't recommended.
For those who already have children, is this true? Did you use these disposable dry wipes instead? I found these on Amazon and if you ladies recommend it, I'd definitely order them....

I've always used Pampers Sensitive Wipes from the moment they were born. Never had issues.

You could use regular paper towels & wet them & wring them out to make your own wipes. Sometimes I do that but I also use regular wipes for sensitive skin. Now that DS is older, I use whatever I have on hand. I have heard that wipes are harsher on newborn skin & some babies are very bothered by it. For DS I don't think it mattered.

I just used sensitive wipes. I hated using the wash cloths at the hospital.

Disposable Dry Washcloths/Wipes?
I used regular wipes as soon as we got home. My second was in the nicu and they had us use wet gauze so I asked the nurse if we should continue that and she said regular wipes would be fine so that's what we did. It seems she has a sensitive tush and has had redness at times since birth no matter what wipes and diapers we use. It doesn't happen as often now at 3 months thankfully.

Disposable Dry Washcloths/Wipes?
I never even heard of using dry wipes. DS was born in December at NS Manhasset and they had regular wet wipes. I think pampers...I can't remember if they were sensitive. When I got home I used pampers sensitive wipes. DS has been fine.

Re: Disposable Dry Washcloths/Wipes?
We used Viva paper towels, the select a size ones. I think those are the ones, they are really soft and more like thin towels. We wet those with water in the begining.

We used the dry ones in the hospital and they gave us a ton to take home. I saved them for when DS had diaper rashes. The rest of the time, we used Pampers Sensitives wipes.

Disposable Dry Washcloths/Wipes?
A family member gave me a package or 2 of those folded paper towels from a public restroom. We used those for about 2 weeks.

Re: Disposable Dry Washcloths/Wipes?
We used them in the hospital and then at home till we ran out of the supply they gave us. Maybe a week or two. then switched to regular wipes.
